Recently a student of Natalie Goldberg, Kelly is in the process of completing her first book which is expected out this year.
Consultant for Investors Group Financial Services Inc from 2010 to 2018. During this time, I was a financial advisor speaking with individuals about their goals and concerns.
Together, we found ways of making some of their hard-earned money work for effectively for them. Editor for North Ontario Business from 2003 to 2010. My role consisted of researching ideas, writing, and editing important stories that played a key function in the economic complexion of the community, region and province as a whole.
In pursuit of uncovering nuggets of information, I would often travel to various businesses to engulf myself in their day-to-day operations, whether it was in the far northwestern region or closer to the GTA.
Each month a collaboration with publishers, sales, developers and printing companies ensured some of our top-notch publication was noticed by private and public leaders. I owned my own business called Kco. in the Ottawa Valley area from 1995 to 2005. As a small business entrepreneur,
I was the Jack of all trades; from bookkeeping, ordering supplies, hiring, and marketing coordinator.
It was a successful small operation and gave me the experience to sit face-to-face with other small business owners and understand their situation and their goals.
