We all love a beautiful sunny morning. Somehow it puts an instant smile on my face. But before stepping out, I need to hydrate and protect my skin. Morning routines may vary but the following steps has helped protect my skin and reduce sun damage for 30 years. I trust our in-office line AllumierMD.

My morning routine starts with Purifying Gel Cleanser followed by Bright and Light toner, which is free of dyes, parabens, phthalates, animal cruelty and artificial fragrance. A serum of Ever Active C&E + Peptide diminishes visible signs of aging, and the Lightening, Eventone and Intellibright Lotions reduce the appearance of brown spots and uneven tones while brightening my skin.

To complete the morning regime, I apply Sheer Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 40. This powerful lotion is packed with zinc oxide, antioxidants, grape seed extract, vitamin E, titanium dioxide, and glutathione which protects my skin from UVA and UVB’s damaging affects while creating a healthy glow.

In the evening, I go through a cleansing routine starting once again with my Purifying Gel Cleanser, the Bright and Clear toner followed by Retinol Resurfacing Serum 1%.

For optimal results, Harvard Medical School states this product is best applied in the evening starting with a weaker dose every second day and working up to a stronger dose. Studies show long-term results reduce wrinkles and increase collagen which stimulates new blood vessels and improves skin colour and pigmentation.

Ultimate Boost serum reduces signs of anti-aging while the Hydra Dew product is loaded with peptides, antioxidants and soothing ingredients that make my skin feel alive and fresh.

I will be honest; I haven’t always been so diligent but I do enjoy having a healthy sun kissed glow.

This can be done safely without chemicals. Through my years of working in the esthetic field I have learned that pigmentation and uneven skin are the primary concerns for many patients.

It is a struggle to improve skin once damage is done but products can help and in-office treatments have amazing results.

Intense Pulse Light Treatments (IPLT) will lift the unwanted pigment and damage, and that’s just the beginning.

Since I’m chatting about the sun, IPLT will also draw out damage that we can’t see with the naked eye.

Skin damage accumulates through the years and so damage I see today is an accumulation from the past.
Let me help you feel good and protect the only skin you have. It is the one thing we can do for ourselves and remember a reapplication of sunscreen helps protect against sun damage.
